An absolute monarchy is where the monarchs, usually kings or queens, have absolute authority over their subjects. This type of government allows the monarchs to do what they want, whether good deeds or bad ones. Their subjects could not do anything because no one limits the powers of the monarchs.
Absolute monarchical rule was followed by previous kings and queens, especially those who ruled medieval England. Past rulers are typically using force and torture in asserting their political authority and the same reason is motivating present groups. However, this is also gratifying to other individuals, which is wrong morally. International law is prohibiting this act.
Persons should also not enslave their fellowmen. People of the past enslave others to work for their benefits. The slaves usually did not have the money to pay for the things that they have borrowed from these people or have done something wrong to them. Nowadays, international law also prohibits enslavement of other individuals for whatever reasons they have.
If a certain person has committed a crime, he should be allowed a fair trial. An impartial tribunal should be judging him after weighing the gravity of his offense and if he is really guilty. The tribunal members should be seeking evidences of his guilt. On the other hand, the accused could be asking for an attorney to be defending him and hopefully setting him free from the charges pressed against him if he is not guilty of the crime.
People can also say what they want freely as long as they say are based on their own opinions and not to hurt others. They could express their opinions freely about whatever topics that present themselves. However, several countries limit this right so this freedom is not absolute. In these countries, individuals may face several criminal charges such as libel, slander, and obscenity, among others.
People also have the freedom to select and follow whatever religion they wish. Lots of religions are present today and they have their own teachings and beliefs. If they do not wish to be involved in this aspect, they are also free not to select any religion, at all.
